Are the Brookyln Nets favorites to win NBA Championship?

The Brooklyn Nets have been on a tear ever since acquiring James Harden from the Houston Rockets. Their Championship odds have shot way up, now sitting right behind the Los Angeles Lakers as favorites to win it all this year.

The latest odds from Odds Shark has the Lakers listed at +260, while the Nets are listed at +275. That means a $100 bet would win you $260, and $275, respectively.

Do you think the Nets will dethrone the Lakers and win it all? If so, what does this do for Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, and James Harden rookie cards?

If you are following the market at all, Kevin Durant's rookie cards have recently shot up in prices, with his 2007 Topps Chrome Rookie Refractor, PSA 10 selling for $49,400! Though Kyrie Irving's and James Harden's cards are both seeing an uptick, I believe there is room for their cards to appreciate in value. They both are a great buy in my opinion. If the PSA 10s are out of your price range, go for PSA 9s. PSA 9s are usually right behind with the same growth as PSA 10s.

Also, Kyrie's and KD's first year Brooklyn Nets cards are relatively cheap, and may be a great buy right now as well. I would target the Prizm update cards
(from Chronicles), Mosaic, and Optic from 2019-20 sets.

What does this do for Laker's cards? If the Lakers don't repeat, will Lebron's cards decrease in value? I don't believe so. Lebron James has cemented his legacy, and once he retires, his values will only rise. They may dip a little, but a Finals loss won't do much to his value.
